Since 2005 Down Syndrome WA has held an annual Butterfly Ball, building each year on the successes of previous balls. It has become a significant event on Perth’s social calendar. It has helped raise the profile of Down Syndrome WA in the community and has raised much needed funds so that the association can continue to provide support and information to people with Down syndrome, their families and to the community.
